To provide accounting and taxation services we collect information such as your name, contact details, date of birth, tax file number, income, financial records, bank details and information about your family or business where it is relevant to the work.

How we collect it

We collect information directly from you, in person, by phone, email, WhatsApp or through this website, and with your authority from the Australian Taxation Office, previous accountants, financial institutions and other parties.

How we use it

We use your information to prepare and lodge returns, provide advice, communicate with you, meet our legal and professional obligations, and manage our relationship with you. Tax file numbers are only collected and used as permitted by law.

Who we share it with

We may disclose information to the Australian Taxation Office, ASIC, SMSF auditors, financial institutions, and to service providers who support our practice, such as accounting software and secure storage providers. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia.

Website enquiries

When you use an enquiry form on this site, your details are passed to WhatsApp so you can send them to us. We do not store form submissions on this website. We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how the site is used, without advertising cookies.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and keep records for as long as required by law.

Access and correction

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you by contacting us.

Complaints

If you have a privacy concern, contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
